How long does the process take?
Each flooring process is customized, so there is no set time. Generally, If you’re getting new installation done, the acclimation and install process may take up to ten days. If you’re getting a refinishing done, your floors will look new in a few days. We provide accurate timeframes during our consultations.
Can you guarantee a dust-free sanding experience?
Nothing is 100% dust-free; we choose to accurately represent the dustless process by saying that our machines are dust-contained and about 97% of the dust is removed.
How often should I refinish my hardwood floors?
It depends on foot traffic and wear. Generally, a buff and re-coat every 3-5 years is recommended by industry standards to maintain beauty and durability.
Do I have to leave my home?
Most projects do not require you to leave your home while your floors are being installed or refinished. The only reason to leave your home would be because you want to due to fumes or the loud noises from the machines. We do require that no one walks on the floor during the finishing process while the floors are wet.
